In what is found to be a big news for all Rajinikant's fans is that the much awaited film of the popular director Shankar, Robo is all set to be kickstarted with Rajinikant playing the lead role. It is quite significant to note that Sharuk Khan and Aamir Khan were earlier been approached to do the role and Robo was initially planned to be a fulfledged hindi movie, but after the success of the film Shivaji, Shankar was very much keen in Rajinikant playing the lead role in Robo. In what is even more interesting was Robo would be much more expensive than the movie Shivaji. Robo will be a Sci-Fi thriller which would be new to the Tamil audience worldwide. Robo will be simultaneouly released in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi.
